This is a simple but very important section.
This section allows you to manage your staff and their access privileges for various operations at your storages.
- A storager does not need access to the operation “SALE”, but needs “RECEIPT”
- A sales assistant, on the other hand, has access to “SALE”, but no access to “RECEIPT”
- A delivery manager will use the operation “MOVE”.
- A delivery person will only have access to “SALE” and “RETURN” and at his storage only.
Any combination is possible. Naturally enough, if an employee has a number of functions, you need to grant him the necessary powers, giving him access to various operations at the storages involved.
Before configuring storage access privileges, add all your staff.
Enter their names and email addresses and create passwords for them.
By the same token, you need to create storages for which you will configure access privileges for your staff.
Once all your staff are on the list, you can start giving them privileges. For this, choose an employee and on the right a storage to which you want to configure access.
In the form that opens, choose the operations that will be available to the employee at this storage. You need to set up privileges as necessary for each storage. If you do not wish to give an employee access to a storage, make sure that he has no highlighted operation on it.
You can enter not only managers but also delivery people as staff.
You have 3 delivery persons. Maksim, Sergey and Ivan. You enter each of them as an employee.
In the section «Storages, Shops, Delivery People» enter 3 storages: “Deliveryman Maksim”, “Deliveryman Sergey” and “Deliveryman Ivan”.
Give each of your delivery people access to their own storage, for the operations SALE and RETURN only.
This completes your preparations.
Now, when releasing an order to a delivery person from your storage where the goods are kept, hand over the goods (or orders) to the delivery person using the operation “Move”.
The delivery person will be in a position to perform the appropriate operation directly upon completing the sale of goods. Should any goods remain unsold (this often happens where the delivery person carries a range of goods to choose from or try on), you will see this right away. And when the delivery person returns, you will be in a position to view a report for his storage for today, which will show stock balance (unsold goods) and the amount of the goods sold. Such a report will be very useful in settling accounts with the delivery people.
